A new chapter for Southbourne Rubber

After 10 years of dedicated leadership, Stephen Wilde will be retiring as Managing Director of Southbourne Rubber at the end of August 2026. Under his leadership, SBR has grown into a trusted UK manufacturer of elastomeric solutions across our respected markets. The growth has most recently been marked by our move into the new facility. We're enormously grateful for his contribution and wish him all the best in retirement.

We're also delighted to announce that Rob Cuffe will be taking over as Managing Director. A familiar face to many, Rob moves into the role from his position as Sales Director bringing an intimate understanding of our customers, our markets and what SBR stands for built from years working directly alongside the accounts we serve. Rob’s priority is simple: to make it easier for customers to rely on SBR across your entire elastomer supply chain, backed by continued investment in the capability and compliance standards our aerospace and defence partners expect.
